GasBuddy connects drivers to their Perfect Pit Stop™, and serves the full lifecycle of being on the road. They have a database of more than 150,000 gas station convenience stores, including real-time fuel price information, station locations, and offerings, along with ratings and reviews.

Why is GasBuddy such a great place to work?
Hands down — the people! We are a collaborative, hard-working, and fun group. We also have lots of snacks…and kombucha. GasBuddy is made up of forward-thinking innovators from a wide variety of backgrounds. Our similarities make us a steadfast team, and our differences bring unique insight to a cause we wholeheartedly believe in.
What sets you apart from other companies similar to yours?
Like many other “start-up” tech companies, we have a super energetic vibe, which is contagious. Unlike other companies in our space, we have a kegerator shaped like a gas pump. We love what we do both inside and outside the office. Whether we’re building marketing campaigns and solving coding conundrums, or checking out conferences and taking classes, our team is always looking to do and learn more.
How important is diversity at GasBuddy?
Diversity is extremely important to GasBuddy! We have found that diversity breeds brilliance. Our CEO, Sarah McCrary, knows that diversity is the key to success with our company as we continue to grow.
What does your team hope to do in the future to support more diverse talent?:
We hope to continue expanding our internal efforts of more diversity-focused initiatives, and promoting externally how supportive we are of diversity and inclusion.
Tell us about one or two of the new innovative solutions your team is working on this year?
This will give our community a sense of what kind of work they might be doing if they join your team. GasBuddy is home to the world’s largest network of people working together daily to “outsmart the pump.” We recently introduced a new in-app feature called “GasBack,” which provides users with free gas when they shop with their go-to vendors, such as Wayfair and Audible.
